About
I'm Vinícius Lisboa, a machine learning engineer in Paraíba, Brazil. I split my time between building systems that verify there is a real person on the other side of the screen and studying the reverse question: whether one day there will be someone on the inside of the machine.
I founded Hummand, a govtech for digital identity and proof of humanity with products in production, and The Alert, an uptime monitoring and observability platform.
I'm a computer science teacher and coordinator at Gov.PB, at ECIT Henrique Fernandes de Farias. As an advising teacher, I work with students on Nameplate (monitoring and forecasting of renewable energy curtailment in Northeast Brazil, through the Ouse Criar program by FAPESQ/SEE-PB) and on Canal Zero, an anonymous channel for reporting school violence.
I also maintain open source projects, such as AWARE and VXBR, on GitHub.
